How can I make a booking for one of your trips?
Easy, just fill in the booking form completely, push the "send" button and that's that. A travel adviser will then contact you to go through the booking and answer any questions you have and/or modify your request.

Is my booking always directly confirmed?
Yes, all of the published 2009 departures are guaranteed. If the website shows availability for a departure your participation will be confirmed. Since there is a maximum number of participants for each of the departures, the website will indicate those trips that are full and therefore unavailable. Since confirmation of space on a trip depends on availability, the earlier you book the better chance of there being space.

Can I modify a trip?
The published trips and departure dates cannot be modified, but we are always very happy to arrange special, personalized trips and different departure dates in addition to those already published. Can I arrange for a trip just for myself and my partner?
Yes, it is possible to book individual trips for 1 couple. For all relevant information on how to go about arranging your own trip, please refer to the "Personalized Trip" section or contact us for further details.

What happens after my booking request is approved?
Once your booking details have been checked by your travel advisor, you will receive an invoice and your travel contract by e-mail, with all the details on how to make your first payment.

What documents do I need to take part in the trips?
A currently valid credit card, a valid driver’s license and a valid ID card or passport.

What if I am out of practice driving a stick shift car?
If you have not driven a stick shift car in over 2 years we strongly recommend you take enough driving lessons before your holiday until you feel comfortable. Please remember that vintage cars are tougher to drive because they do not have power steering.

How do I organize my international flights?
Your international flights should be booked directly or through your local travel agent.
We always advise you to purchase travel and cancellation insurance.

Can Italy by Vintage Car assist me with other travel services like transfers, hotel bookings, pre and post tour programs, domestic flights within Italy and train tickets?
Yes, we can help you with all your travel needs within Italy, including arrival and departure transfers, hotel reservations, pre and post tour programs, train tickets and domestic flights.

Is there a minimum age for participation in a trip?
Yes. The driver must be over 26 years of age and have held a driving license for at least three years.

Can I bring my children?
Children are welcome on the Tuscany family trip, they are not allowed on other trips unless it is a "Personalized Trip".

Is there a minimum age for the children to participate in the Family Program?
Our Family Program takes into particular consideration the children's interests so, on each trips designed for families we have specified the age the children should be in order for them and the family as a whole to fully enjoy the trip's various activities.

Are pets allowed on the trips?
Unfortunately pets are not allowed on the trips
